Abstract
Energy audit and management are critical to optimizing energy consumption and enhancing operational efficiency in manufacturing industries. This manuscript presents a comprehensive energy audit conducted at a medium-scale manufacturing unit to identify energy wastage and propose effective energy management strategies. The study involves detailed data collection, statistical analysis, and application of engineering principles to evaluate energy consumption patterns. Results indicate significant opportunities for energy savings, particularly in lighting, compressed air systems, and motor drives. The proposed management measures are expected to reduce energy costs and environmental impact, contributing to sustainable industrial growth.
