Abstract
This manuscript reviews load balancing techniques employed in cloud computing environments as of 2016, focusing on algorithmic strategies, system architectures, and performance evaluations. We categorize approaches into static, dynamic, and hybrid methods, discussing their principles, advantages, and trade‑offs. The study presents detailed case studies of three representative systems—Round‑Robin enhanced, Weighted Least Connection, and Ant Colony Optimization—followed by methodology, results, and conclusions. The findings highlight that adaptive dynamic strategies achieve superior resource utilization and response times at the cost of increased complexity.
