ABSTRACT
The performance of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) frames under cyclic lateral loads is critical to ensuring seismic safety and structural resilience. This manuscript presents a comprehensive study—grounded in technologies and research available up to 2017—on the behavior, analytical modelling, and experimental evaluation of RCC frames subjected to cyclic loading. The paper synthesizes key case studies, identifies remaining research gaps, outlines a detailed experimental and numerical methodology, and discusses observed results. Finally, conclusions and ten pertinent references (all published no later than 2017) are provided to contextualize findings within the engineering discipline as of the year 2017.
KEY WORDS
