Abstract
This paper presents a comprehensive study on the vibration characteristics of cantilever beams using the finite element analysis software ANSYS. The modal analysis of cantilever beams with varying material properties, dimensions, and boundary conditions is conducted to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes. The results obtained from ANSYS simulations are validated through classical analytical methods based on Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. The study highlights the influence of beam geometry and material on dynamic behavior, which is critical for designing structural components subjected to dynamic loads. This work provides insights for engineers involved in the design and analysis of mechanical and civil structures using advanced computational tools.
